ENSJØ ELEKTROLYSE · OSLO

Electrolysis for facial hair in Oslo

Facial hair on the chin, upper lip and cheeks can be treated with electrolysis, including blonde, grey and red hair.

Which facial areas can be treated?

The upper lip, chin, jawline and cheeks can be treated. Each hair is treated individually, making electrolysis useful for precise work on small areas.

How does electrolysis work?

A fine probe is inserted into the natural opening of the hair follicle and an electrical current targets the hair-producing cells. Treatment does not depend on hair colour. Read more about electrolysis.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of visits depends on hair growth cycles, hair density and individual factors. Several sessions are usually needed; an individual assessment is made at consultation.

How long does treatment take and what does it cost?

We offer 15 or 30 minutes of active electrolysis, with 30 or 45 minutes reserved in total. Prices are NOK 750 and NOK 1,390 respectively. Check current prices in Timma.

How will my skin react?

Temporary redness, tenderness or swelling can occur. Follow your practitioner’s aftercare advice and seek medical advice for unusual or persistent reactions. Read preparation and aftercare advice.

Electrolysis or laser?

Laser relies on hair pigment, while electrolysis treats follicles individually and can also be used on blonde, grey and red hairs. Compare hair removal methods.

Before your consultation

Avoid plucking or waxing immediately before your appointment. Tell your practitioner about relevant skin conditions, medicines or implants. We are at Gladengveien 4E, Oslo.
